The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has mandated changes to the TCPA regulations, requiring that the company providing services to a consumer be explicitly named and disclosed. Beginning in 2025, consumers must affirmatively consent on a One-To-One basis (i.e., a consumer cannot agree to a list of companies) before consent to contact that consumer is considered valid under TCPA regulations. Standard Information has developed an open-source framework called SIT-BAC (Standard Information Transfer for Buyer Assurance and Compliance) to help lead generators, marketplaces, and lead buyers comply with the FCC’s new One-To-One consent requirement. SIT-BAC ensures compliance by dynamically inserting the correct entity that will contact the consumer into the TCPA language before form submission. Watch this video to learn more.
